Letters to Minna Page Field Burnaby [manuscript], 1915-1916.

Burnaby's letters recount the closing days of the Gallipoli campaign. He describes trench warfare, the November visit of Lord Kitchener and the great evacuation of Suvla and Anzac. Letters from Egypt reflect his impatience with inactivity, medical problems and the failure of his wife to obtain visiting permission.
